- Prompt: "I am a [Role] with [Number] years of experience in [Skills]. Write a professional 3-sentence resume summary that highlights my achievement in [Achievement]."
2. Tailoring to the Job Description (ATS Optimization)
Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) scan for keywords.
- Step 1: Paste the Job Description into ChatGPT.
- Step 2: Paste your Resume.
- Prompt: "Act as a recruiter. Compare my resume to the job description. List the missing keywords and suggest bullet points to add to my experience section to better match the role."
3. Writing Cover Letters
Stop using templates.
